    WHAT ARE WBC'S PERFORMING COMPANIES?
    ​Our performing companies are a wonderful way to show off the strength and technique that come from your dance training! During Company rehearsal, students will learn choreography to be performed at local venues throughout the year. Our Company Concert will be in March at the lovely Covey Center for the Arts in Provo. A two week local tour will precede the concert. Dancers will also perform extra pieces in the June Concert. Being a member of the Company is a great way to improve as a dancer and performer, have fun, and make life-long friendships!
    WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?
    • Basics 3 Company members are required to attend all ballet classes for their level. They are also encouraged to take Jazz. Acro/Tumbling for Dancers would also be beneficial and fun!
    • Dancers must attend all rehearsals. Companies will rehearse at least once per week. Additional rehearsals may be scheduled as needed.
    WHAT ARE THE COSTS?
    Weekly rehearsals are billed the same as tuition for technique classes. There is also a one-time company fee. Last year's company fee for Basics 3 was $245. This pays for:
    • A company leotard and 2 pairs of performing tights. The leotard will be worn for performances and can be worn to class. One pair of tights will be passed out prior to the Company Performance and the second, prior to the June performance.
    • Costume Rental: Aside from the leos, WBC will supply additional costumes that will be worn for the company performances.
    • Miscellaneous expenses for various performances and Spring Company Concert.
