BYU High school Dance day
We’ll be wrapping up our touring season with one last performance opportunity, inspiring master classes, and a chance to watch CDT perform! High School Dance Day, hosted by BYU’s Contemporary Dance Theater, offers an incredible experience to learn from acclaimed faculty and strengthen contemporary technique. We hope all Pre-Pro dancers can join us!

8:00 am – Meet at studio for carpool
8:10 am – Leave for BYU
8:30–8:45 am — Check-In
8:45–9:00 am — Welcome & Gathering
9:00–9:55 am — Technique or Improv/Composition
10:00–10:55 am — Technique or Improv/Composition
11:00–11:40 am — BYU CDT Repertoire Class
11:45–12:30 pm — High School Informal Showing & Written Feedback
12:30–1:45 pm — Lunch
2:00 pm — BYU Contemporary Dance Theatre in Concert
3:30ish – Parents pick up dancers from Richard's Building
CARPOOL
We will carpool from the studio to BYU or dancers can meet us there. There will not be a return carpool - All dancers should be picked up afterward from the Richards building at BYU. Parents can sign up to drive through the tour volunteer form.
INFORMAL SHOWING
This showing offers our dancers a great opportunity to receive meaningful feedback as they continue to grow and develop. We will be performing one piece from our current repertoire - more details coming soon!
CDT CONCERT
Carpool drivers will have the option to stay and attend the CDT concert with us for $18. We’ll coordinate this after drivers are determined.
