ABOUT THE ABT CURRICULUM
At Wasatch Ballet, our students train with purpose, progression, and exceptional standards!

Our ballet program follows the AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE® National Training Curriculum, a nationally recognized program that combines high-quality artistic training with dancer health, child development, and age-appropriate progression.

The ABT® Curriculum gives dancers a clear path for growth, building strong technique, artistry, musicality, coordination, confidence, and a lifelong understanding of ballet at every stage of their training.

Our program is led by Allison T. Wolsey, a fully ABT® Certified Teacher, ensuring that students receive thoughtful, structured training designed to help them develop safely and reach their individual potential.

WHY WE LOVE THIS APPROACH
The ABT® National Training Curriculum brings together the best of the French, Italian, and Russian ballet traditions with a thoughtful, age-appropriate approach to training. Dancers learn not just what to do, but how to move with strength, coordination, musicality, artistry, and confidence.

Paired with the experience and individualized attention of the Wasatch Ballet faculty, this curriculum allows us to challenge each dancer at the right pace, helping them build a strong foundation, discover their individual strengths, and reach their personal best while enjoying the journey along the way.
