    SOLOIST consideration form

    Dear Dancers,
We are currently in the process of casting roles for Wonderland, 2025. Soloist casting is carefully determined based on multiple factors, including attendance, class enrollment, suitability for the part, and whose turn it is for the opportunity. We consider dancers who consistently demonstrate commitment to their training and rehearsals, ensuring reliability and dedication. While skill and artistry are essential, we also prioritize dancers who contribute positively to the studio environment and uphold our standards of teamwork and professionalism. While Seniors may be considered for a role, they are not guaranteed a featured part in the June Concert. However, they are recognized and celebrated in the March Company Concert. Not every dancer will receive a solo each year, but we aim to make thoughtful casting decisions that create a well-balanced and dynamic production.

To be considered for a soloist role, dancers must fully commit to attending all classes and rehearsals. Absences, particularly during scene and dress rehearsals, can greatly affect the overall quality of the show and the experience of all performers. If you have any prior commitments in late-May or June, please inform us now and keep us updated on any new conflicts that arise. While we may be able to accommodate a single conflict depending on its timing and duration, soloists are expected to make the Concert their top priority and be present at every rehearsal. Your dedication is essential to ensuring a smooth and enjoyable production for everyone involved. Casting will be posted on Saturday, March 22.

    Thank you!

Note: All dancers can still perform fully in the concert with their classes even if they have conflicts in June. It is only a requirement for soloists to be fully available in June.
