LOAD IN / SET UP
Thursday morning before dress rehearsals.
Help bring scenery and props to Covey Center. Help assemble scenes. May involve some crafting and design work!

CHAPERONE
Arrive 15 min prior to dancer arrival time.

Needed for the Junior and young Senior Classes to help dancers with costumes, change of shoes, getting class on and off stage, and watching them backstage between dances. Chaperones are unable to leave students to watch dances from audience. There is a “Green Room” where the younger children will participate in organized quiet activities provided by WBC and watch videos while waiting to dance. If you have fun activities, please bring them!

STAGE ASSISTANT
Arrive 1 hour before rehearsal or performance start time.
Help the Stage Manager get the students and/or props on and off the stage. If you are able to help at more than one show, the dress rehearsal, or all of them, it would be great (but not required).

STRONG ASSISTANT
Arrive 1 hour before rehearsal or performance start time.
Help the Head of Props backstage with scenery, props etc. This is great for dads, strong moms and older siblings.

BACKSTAGE RUNNER
Arrive 1 hour before rehearsal or performance start time.
Be the right-hand-person to the Stage Managers who are on headset. Help bring dancers to the stage and other various tasks.

ADDITIONAL HELP

Arrive 1 hour before rehearsal or performance start time.
Fill in if someone is missing. May help back stage, in lobby, or with dancers depending on need.

USHER & TIDIER
Arrive 1 hour before rehearsal or performance start time.

Greet patrons, take tickets, and pass out programs. After the rehearsals or performances, help tidy the backstage area.

FINAL CLEAN UP
After last performance.
Help sweep, mop, wipe down surfaces and take out trash backstage after the final performance.

BREAK DOWN
After last performance.

Load scenery and props into trucks and bring them to WBC. Help unload.
